History
NATURAL MAGIC® products originate from the idea that odors do not have to be masked with a fragrance; instead odors can be eliminated by breaking down the odor-causing molecules on surfaces and in the air. This concept was developed by Osmegen, Inc., the creator of the NATURAL MAGIC® brand.
Osmegen, Inc. began by testing the theory that the eliminator used on dentures in the dental market could be applied to household cleaning. After extensive product testing, Osmegen, Inc. developed the NATURAL MAGIC® product line formed with non-toxic chemical compounds that break down odors at their source.
In 1993, Osmegen, Inc. introduced its first deodorizer, NATURAL MAGIC® Odor Blaster® Spray, which was sold to small, family-owned retail stores. All bottles were individually hand-filled, hand-labeled and sealed by Osmegen Inc.’s dedicated staff. The popularity and effectiveness of this product instantly caught on and only two years later, in 1995, Osmegen, Inc. acquired its first manufacturing and storage facility in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
In 1998, Osmegen, Inc. began selling NATURAL MAGIC® Odor Absorbing Gels, gel-based deodorizers that break down odors via a chemical reaction. Gradually eliminating odor 24 hours a day, NATURAL MAGIC® Odor Absorbing Gels also integrate seamlessly into a home’s décor. Offered in original and decorative styles, NATURAL MAGIC® Odor Absorbing Gels soon became the most popular product.
From the offset, the NATURAL MAGIC® product line grew as well-established retail outlets took notice. Soon, NATURAL MAGIC® products were sold on QVC, a televised home shopping network. Menards, Lowes, The Home Depot and Wal-Mart also caught on and were soon selling their own varieties of NATURAL MAGIC® odor solutions.
Through the years, Osmegen, Inc. has also expanded its NATURAL MAGIC® product offerings to include gel-based deodorizers and spays in an ever-evolving variety of scents and decorative styles. Despite new products, scents and looks, Osmegen, Inc. has never lost touch with its founding and most important concept: to offer safe and effective NATURAL MAGIC® household products that neutralize and eliminate tough odors.
