HOW DOES IT WORK?
The active ingredient Tralomethrin is a highly active "residual pyrethroid" insecticide.
Insects that walk across a "line" of chalk drawn in areas where they live and forage pick up very
small but potent particles. Direct contact with this insecticide and ingestion due to grooming kills rapidly.
Since Tralomethrin is a "residual insecticide" the chalk deposit remains effective for a long time.
This product, which has been studied and registered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for consumer

Ten male cockroaches were exposed to each of three deposits. Insecticidal Activity of pyrethroid chalks against
adult male German Cockroaches, exposed for briefs periods to limited deposits on nonporous (glass) and porous
(filter paper) surfaces.
